The one-tenth scale model of the Battleship Yamato

　The Battleship Yamato was the greatest battleship ever built. But, on April 7, 1945, at 2:23 p.m. the unsinkable Yamato, no longer able to demonstrate its full potential, was attacked by a large convoy of aircraft of the US Naval Task Force, exploded and sank carrying with it many of the crew. . . .
　This one-tenth scale model of the Battleship Yamato was created to transmit to the next generation the message of the importance of peace and the wonders of scientific technology.
　The technological and production management system used for building the Battleship Yamato consisting of “Bulbous bow” called spherical bow and block structure, was used after the war not only in shipbuilding but in all fields that contributed to the reconstruction of Japan.
